• Confirm Import Procedures
  The import procedures may be revised and/or modified irregularly for certain reasons at each country and region such as "requested inspections before the shipment", "necessary documents for import clearance", "import duties/taxes", etc. Please understand that it is impossible for Woodstock to keep track of the different import procedures and regulations for each country and region. Please check with the local authorities for the latest procedures by yourself before placing an order with us. The following information is obtained by Woodstock as of 30th Oct, 2008.
  Please be sure to check with local authorities about the latest procedures before placing an order. For Kenya customers JEVIC inspection required
  The Kanya government requires JEVIC inspection for all vehicles to be imported.
  Inspection will be arranged by WOODSTOCK before shipment.
  This may take up to 10 days depending on the congestion of inspection services.
  Booking your vehicle for shipment will be arranged once the JEVIC inspection is complete.
  Please pay the JEVIC Inspection fee of US$200 at the same time that payment for your vehicle is made. For Tanzania, Mauritius, Bangladesh、Sri Lanka、customers JAAI inspection required!
  The government of the countries mentioned above require JAAI inspection for the vehicles to be imported.
  Inspection will be arranged by WOODSTOCK before shipment.
  This may take up to 10 days depending on the congestion of inspection services.
  Booking your vehicle for shipment will be arranged once the JAAI inspection is complete.
  Please pay the JAAI Inspection fee of US$200 at the same time that payment for your vehicle is made.

For Mozambique, Nigeria, customers

• The buyer in Mozambique is requested to get in contact with the following office in Maputo for applying the car import:-

• The above mentioned Intertek International Ltd. will advise us of the inspection procedures through their Tokyo office (hereinafter "the Tokyo Office") according to your application.
• We will present the necessary export documents including a document certifying the appropriate FOB car value to the Tokyo office, and make an appointment for the inspections with the Tokyo Office.
• The inspections before shipment will be made by the Tokyo office - the car FOB value will be also assessed.
  Remarks: We will be charged US$350.- per a car (per one MOZ Number) for the inspection by the Tokyo office, in the case of:-
  a) The car can not clear the inspections.
  b) The shipment will be cancelled after the inspections.
  c) The inspections will be postponed due to our reasons, and the postpone notice will not be made by the 14:00 of one-earlier-operation-date of the original inspection date. Remarks: The above charge JPY31,500.- will be charged to the buyer, if it will be charged to us due to the buyer's reasons.
• An Inspection Report will be issued to us by the Tokyo Office in the next operation-date after the inspection date, and we will issue a Final Invoice to the Tokyo Office.
  A certificate for import customs clearance will be issued in Mozambique after checking all the documents related to your order by Intertek International Ltd. Further information is available at the following websites:
